Write for us
Clever News Insights welcomes considered pitches about news literacy: the language of headlines, how sources work, the framing of images and details, the role of context, and the way developing stories change.
What makes a good pitch
Send a focused proposal with a working title, the reader question it answers, the main idea and a short note on how you would support it. Strong pitches explain one useful distinction or habit in plain English and give readers a clear reason to care.
Keep it grounded
We favour evergreen subjects that can be explained without unsupported claims, invented examples presented as real, or specialist advice. Please identify the material you would rely on and note any uncertainty or limitations that matter to the piece.
How to send it
Send proposals through the Contact page and choose the editorial option. A pitch is a proposal, not a promise of publication; please do not send confidential material or assume that submission creates an assignment.
Curiosity before certainty
A news story is a view from a particular place and moment. Read its details with care, and leave room for what is not yet known.
