Editorial policy
Clever News Insights aims to explain the choices and limits involved in reading news. We value clear wording, proportionate claims and a visible distinction between established details, interpretation and uncertainty.
Accuracy and care
We check names, quotations and factual details against suitable source material before publication, and keep claims within what that material supports. When an article discusses a developing story, we make its time-sensitive limits clear and revisit it when a material update warrants a change.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for reader understanding, not to secure favourable coverage for a partner or contributor. We do not present opinion as reported fact, and we identify the basis for an interpretation where that distinction matters.
Corrections
If a published article contains an error, readers can report it through the Contact page. We review the concern and correct substantiated errors, clarifying significant changes in the article so readers can understand what was amended.
Partnerships and illustrations
Paid or partner material is labelled clearly where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, they are identified so readers are not asked to mistake an illustration for documentary evidence.
Curiosity before certainty
A news story is a view from a particular place and moment. Read its details with care, and leave room for what is not yet known.
